Job Description

Scope of Work:
We are seeking a qualified contractor to remove the existing perimeter fencing and install a new 6-foot wooden privacy fence, including all required gates, posts, and reinforcements, around a single-family residential property located in Lake Worth Beach, Florida.

Key Responsibilities:
• Remove and dispose of the existing fence structure.
• Provide all materials and labor for new 6-foot privacy fence installation.
• Ensure all fence lines meet local setback and property line requirements.
• Obtain required permits from the City of Lake Worth Beach.
• Schedule and pass all necessary inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and secure job site throughout the project duration.

Timeline:
All work must be completed within 30 calendar days from permit issuance unless otherwise approved in writing.

Bid Submission Deadline:
Bids must be submitted by May 20, 2025.

Contractor Requirements for Fence Installation

  1. Must hold a valid State of Florida General Contractor license, Residential Contractor license, or Fence Specialty license.

  2. Must be registered with Palm Beach County and the City of Lake Worth Beach.

  3. Must provide (upon application to bid):

    1. A copy of a valid State License (Certification or Registration).

    2. Palm Beach County Contractor Certification.

    3. City of Lake Worth Beach Contractor Registration.

    4. Proof of General Liability Insurance.

    5. Proof of Workers’ Compensation Insurance (or filed exemption).

    6. Copy of Qualifier’s Driver’s License.



Upon assignment of the project, and prior to commencement of work, contractor shall be responsible for obtaining and submitting

  1. A Building Permit.

  2. A recent property survey (Residential: within 2 years; Commercial: within 6 months).

  3. A site plan detailing fence location, height, materials, and gate placements.

  4. Executed Hold Harmless/Indemnification Agreement and Fence Removal Agreement, recorded with Palm Beach County Clerk of Court.
